older merc newer tachometer
Hi was wondering if any body could tell me how to install a newer tach on a 1972 mercury 800 thunderbolt,I have a mercontrol box with a three prong connection in front of it,here is a pic of the back side of tachometer,Thanks.

It is so long since I did one but there should be no problem, the tacho feeds off the ignition pulse on No 1 plug so wiring is fairly simple.............Tremlett is the man for this.............
